A special Statehood Day welcome by Secretary of State, Tre Hargett and State Librarian and Archivist, Jamie Ritter, featuring the presentation of colors, National Anthem, and the unveiling of Tennessee’s three original constitutions.

The guest lecturer will be Dr. Carroll Van West, a well known Tennessee historian.Through a dynamic visual presentation, Dr. West will take audiences on a journey across Tennessee,
from Bristol to Memphis, exploring 230 years and stories that shaped the Volunteer State.
