Nashville All School History (NASH)

Experience a 30-minute overview of Nashville’s history at your school! Peak curiosity with snapshots of Middle Tennessee’s last four hundred years. NASH provides the basic framework linking settings and events which built the global city we live in today.

NASH is great as a presentation to start or end a semester.

Provide free wall posters for your students of the greater Nashville area. The ariel photograph (c. 1994) captures the Cumberland River, major interstates and the metro area just prior to Tennessee’s Bi-Centennial. Identify the unique features of the mid-state river basin and grasp the environmental dynamic, just like a full-screen digital display.

Take advantage of Nashville’s free historical resources at Planet Nashville resources page.

Reserve your 2026-27

“With all my background knowledge…

…of Tennessee as both a native and a student of our state’s history, I learned quite a few interesting facts about Nashville… We received a number of inquiries from 5th grade students interested in researching Nashville’s history… As librarians, we are always looking for ways to spark a student’s love of reading and give them reliable information about something they are interested in. I was proud to see our next generation learning about where we originated and where we live today. In my opinion, [this] is a valuable asset …for all elementary school students.”
