In 2026, students find that doors are open at the Bicentennial Mall as Tennessee completes our 230th year. Founded two decades after the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philedelphia, Secretary of State Tre Hargett encourages all to spread awareness. With the Tennessee State Library & Archives in the lead, the Tennessee State Museum, and Bicentennial Mall State Park also host free, family-friendly events.
